Losar Party Preparations

Tonight’s the big night! SFT is having a special party to observe the end of Losar, the Tibetan New Year, for old friends and new supporters, alike.

Jane Stein and Jeff Nash graciously agreed to host the party in the beautiful loft in Manhattan. This is in addition to the recent three day board meeting we held there, as well. They are just too much, and we love them for it!

The video below (just recorded a few minutes ago) shows the kitchen crew working to create the momo’s and other treats for tonight!

Episode 2: Alma at Dymph’s

Wonder what happens to Grassroots Coordinators after they leave SFT? Surely, they must lead a life of leisure, funded by their “golden parachute” severance checks from SFT, and all their rock and movie star friends, right!?

Unfortunately, this is not the case, though things aren’t all bad. Our local pub, St. Dymphna’s, provides a work program for former activists to learn about the “real” world.
