Terracotta warriors say: “Boycott Beijing Olympics!”
Even China’s own terracotta warriors are sickened by their government’s brutal crackdown in Tibet.
They also remember back in the Tang Dynasty days, when the Tibetan empire was not to be messed with… and was certainly not a part of China!

The British Museum’s exhibition of China’s Terracotta Army was today targeted by pro-Tibetan protesters who hung placards with slogans around two of the statues’ necks.
Martin Wyness, 50, and Mark Trepte, 47, said they put placards on the warriors, saying “Stop Killing Tibetans” and “Boycott the Chinese Olympics.”
The protesters, from Hereford, claimed that onlookers clapped as they mounted the demonstration over the violent crackdown by the Chinese authorities in Tibet. [...]
“I was amazed that the bulk of people clapped when I did it, showing the British public is already behind Tibetans,” he said. “I want athletes to boycott the Olympics. Human life is more important than sport.”

URGENT CALL TO ALL OLYMPIC COMPETITORS:
I would request that all Olympic athletes rapidly develop and make use of networks of communication to pass the word: Make a personal choice to not participate in the Beijing Olympics.
If nobody goes, all the glamor, all the glory for the hideously abusive government in China will evaporate. Attention will be drawn dramatically to the Tibet issue. This personal, grassroots boycott will cost nothing, involve no violence, and leave all the governments and corporations wondering at the power and integrity of the statemant this group of young participants from aroung the world is making! Please consider.
