Chinese Premier, Wen Jiaobao will likely be in NYC from September 22-25 for the opening of the United Nations General Assembly. He is also expected to meet with President Bush during his visit.
We need your help! The situation inside Tibet remains critical as Chinese authorities continue their brutal crackdown following last spring’s nation-wide protests for freedom and human rights.
Wen’s visit falls one week before the anniversary of the Nangpa la shootings, when Chinese soldiers opened fire on a group of escaping Tibetans, killing a young nun and injuring many others.
Join us in the streets to make sure our voices for Tibetan freedom and human rights ring loud and clear!
